01
Exactly what the checkup includes
The deliverable is an audit of the visible website, Google listing, and social presence, followed by a prioritized list of fixes. On the website, we review whether the main offer is clear, important pages are usable on mobile, and the contact path is easy to find. For the Google listing, we look at information the business makes available and note details that need owner confirmation. For social presence, we review whether profiles explain the business and point to current pages. The fix list separates issues that affect basic accuracy or usability from later improvements. The owner may need to provide links or access for items that aren't public. The checkup does not include making every recommended change or building a new site.
02
Who the checkup is for
Choose this offer when something feels wrong online but the next project isn't obvious. A business may have an aging site, inconsistent contact details, or profiles that send people to the wrong place. An owner may be considering a redesign but want to know whether smaller fixes would help first. A new company may want a second look at its online basics before investing in more pages. The checkup works best when the business can share its current links and verify its facts. It isn't a substitute for a full technical investigation of every system or an ongoing SEO campaign. It gives the owner a practical way to choose the next action.
03
Step 1: share the current presence
Send the website URL, the Google listing link if there is one, and the social profiles the business uses. Tell us the main services, real location or coverage, and what customers should do next. If there is a particular issue, such as a form that fails or confusing service copy, mention it. We confirm which visible surfaces belong in the review and what the owner can verify. We don't assume every business has every profile. We also don't create a listing or invent an office for a place the business doesn't occupy. Accurate starting information makes the audit more useful and helps separate a true problem from an assumption.
04
Step 2: review and prioritize
We look at the agreed website, listing, and social surfaces from a customer point of view. Can a visitor tell what the business does? Do the phone and contact routes work? Are service and location details consistent? Do profile links lead to relevant, current pages? We record observable issues and organize them into a prioritized fix list. Items that block contact or misstate the business should be considered before cosmetic changes. We explain what the owner can correct, what may need a specialist or platform access, and what could be a separate project. The list is a recommendation, not an implementation of every item. It doesn't guarantee a ranking or a number of leads.
05
Step 3: choose the next action
The result may point to a small content update, a repaired contact route, clearer service pages, a Starter Website, a larger redesign, or an ongoing local search scope. The owner decides whether to act on any recommendation. We can discuss a proposal for work that Merry Harbor can handle, but the checkup doesn't require a larger purchase. The fix list helps separate immediate accuracy and usability issues from ideas that can wait. If the business has several concerns, it can use the priorities to avoid starting everything at once. The goal is a clearer decision, not a long list of tasks without an order.
06
Price and related offers
The Digital Presence Checkup costs $149 one-time. Starter websites begin at $1,200, Business websites at $2,500, Local SEO at $400 per month, Website Care at $79 per month, and custom digital builds at $15,000. Those are separate starting points. The $149 audit produces a prioritized fix list, not a finished website, a monthly campaign, or an unlimited repair package. If the owner wants implementation after reviewing the findings, we define that work and price it separately. The pricing page shows the published options. A checkup can help choose between a focused fix and a larger project without claiming that either will guarantee a particular business result.
07
Based in Richmond, serving Houston
Merry Harbor Digital is based in Richmond, TX and serves the Houston metro. A checkup looks at the business's own real location and coverage, which may differ from ours. A Google listing must reflect the business's actual information. Social profiles and website pages should agree on the basics. We don't invent addresses, reviews, credentials, rankings, or client outcomes. Local SEO may be a later option if accurate local information and useful pages need ongoing attention. The web design and social media service pages explain related work. The checkup itself remains a focused audit and prioritized list of fixes.

Frequently asked questions
Will you fix everything during the checkup?
No. The $149 deliverable is an audit and prioritized fix list. Implementation can be scoped separately if you want help.
What if I don't have a Google listing?
Tell us. We review the surfaces the business actually has and note that absence without inventing a listing.
Do I need to give account access?
Public links can support an initial review. If an item needs access or owner confirmation, we'll identify that before claiming a finding.
Can the result say I don't need a new website?
Yes. The priority may be a smaller correction. A larger build is a separate decision based on the findings.
Will the checkup guarantee better search results?
No. It identifies issues and next steps. Rankings, traffic, and customer behavior can't be guaranteed.
