01
What Website Care includes
The exact deliverables depend on the platform and the agreed plan. Care can include content changes, software or site updates where applicable, checks of key forms and links, review of important pages on mobile, and basic site-health or performance observations. It can also include a clear record of issues that need a separate project. We define update allowances, responsibilities, and access before work begins. A small change to hours is different from building a new service area or adding a custom booking system. The proposal explains which requests belong in the plan and what happens when a request exceeds it. Routine checks help catch problems, but they don't mean no issue will ever occur. The business still needs to provide accurate content and approve changes to its services and claims.
02
Who needs ongoing website support
A new website owner may want help keeping services, hours, and contact details current. An established business may have a site that hasn't been checked in a while. A restaurant may change menus or ordering links. A contractor may add a service or change coverage. A professional practice may need an updated service description or appointment path. Care can help when the business doesn't have time or staff to make those changes itself. It can also help identify when a larger redesign is the more honest answer. We won't sell routine maintenance as a cure for a site that has the wrong structure. First we look at the platform, access, and the work the owner actually needs.
03
How the care process works
We start by reviewing the site, its platform, access, and the most important customer actions. We discuss which updates and checks should be included, who supplies new content, and how requests are approved. The plan sets boundaries for tasks and support. We then carry out agreed work and identify anything that requires a separate decision. Forms, phone links, and navigation deserve attention because a small failure there can affect a visitor's next step. The owner verifies business facts and approves changes. We can revisit priorities when services or the site change. A care process makes responsibility clearer, but it doesn't guarantee uninterrupted operation, search positions, traffic, or a fixed response outcome.
04
Care, redesign, and SEO are different jobs
A care plan can keep information current and address defined routine needs. A redesign changes the structure or experience more deeply. SEO work looks at search questions, useful pages, technical foundations, and local information. Sometimes a form fix belongs in care. A new set of service pages may be a separate website project. A location strategy may need its own research and scope. We'll discuss the difference before treating a request as a routine update. The web design, SEO, and local SEO pages explain those services. Internal links can help a visitor move from a current service page to pricing, selected work, or contact. A maintenance plan should protect that path by checking the parts customers actually use.
05
Website Care pricing
Website Care begins at $79 per month for an agreed scope. Published related starting points are Starter websites from $1,200, Business websites from $2,500, Local SEO from $400 per month, a $149 one-time Digital Presence Checkup, and custom digital builds from $15,000. The $79 starting point doesn't mean every platform, update, or emergency request is included. The proposal should state the tasks, allowances, access needs, and responsibilities. If the existing site needs a larger change, we can discuss a separate project. A checkup may help sort urgent fixes from future improvements before choosing ongoing care. Review the pricing page for the published options, then ask about the actual site and workload.
06
Local support from Richmond
Merry Harbor Digital is based in Richmond, TX and serves Richmond, Rosenberg, Fulshear, Katy, Cypress, Needville, The Woodlands, West University Place, and the wider Houston metro. We can discuss care for a business site serving any of these places without implying offices in each community. The owner's own service area, hours, and contact details must remain accurate on the site. A local page can become misleading if it is copied or left unchanged after a business shifts coverage. Care may include checking agreed pages and making approved edits. It doesn't replace the owner's knowledge of the business. We ask for the facts before changing claims customers might rely on.
07
Ask about caring for your site
Send your website link, the platform if you know it, and the updates or problems that concern you. Tell us who currently manages access and who can approve content. Review pricing, see selected work, and use the contact page to explain what you need. Those project names don't prove a maintenance outcome. You can call 832-654-3425 or email Merryharbordigital@gmail.com. The business is open 24 hours, seven days a week. We'll discuss a defined care scope, a one-time checkup, or a separate build if that fits the problem better. You don't need to guess which option applies before describing the site.
Frequently asked questions
Does the $79 plan include every update?
No. It's a starting price. The proposal defines included tasks, allowances, platform needs, and work that would require a separate scope.
Can you care for a site you didn't build?
We can review the platform and access first, then discuss whether a care scope is workable for that site.
Will Website Care guarantee no downtime?
No. Routine checks and updates can help address issues, but uninterrupted operation can't be guaranteed.
Is SEO included in maintenance?
Only specific agreed tasks are included. Ongoing SEO research and content work need their own scope.
What should I send to start?
A website URL, the platform if known, a list of current issues, and information about who controls access are helpful.
